Our advice

How to write a résumé?

A few basic rules:

  • Your résumé should be clean, printed on white, good quality paper of an A4 format. (21 x 29,7 cm)
  • Its presentation should be clear and well spaced. The résumé should reflect your personality and you should like it.
  • If you have a cell phone, indicate it.
  • If you have an internet access, indicate it.
  • Professional experience: the key is to present it in an anti chronological order, meaning you should start with what is most recent and finish with your first job. It is your last position that is most significant.
  • Languages: Indicate the foreign language(s) you master and precise how you gained such a level (years of study, living abroad).

Il you feel perfectly at ease with a language or even bilingual, you should mention that information in the title. Example: “manager’s assistant – bilingual French – English”. It is a « plus » that should appear in the title.
